He'd already been pounding on Gohan for a good while before he declared he had 10 minutes left. He never said he only had 10 minutes to begin with. Boo's body just works like that. I think even in the face of adversity, Gotenks-Boo would still have a more clear head than Gohan-Boo. If we're talking about components, the latter has Gohan's rage, which as we've seen multiple times is usually not a pro in fights - it's a con.

To me, Gotenks-Boo showed a more calm, calculating demeanor; on the other hand, Gohan-Boo seemed even more arrogant and belligerent than his predecessor, certainly a result of Gohan's arrogance mixed with Gotenks', which isn't a good thing.
